NFT-a-thon at Scope Art 2022 - Art Basel, Miami. Remote; On site option.

This NFT-a-thon

Beginning on November 15, support LatinX Nonprofits and LatinX startup founders.

Join the LatinX #Equalithon and participate in teams that support LatinX! Or mentor them.

Find solutions to all kinds of challenges (tech and non-tech) and help LatinX get better opportunities: we’ll scale the impact of a nonprofit and we’ll help launch and fund a LatinX founder’s startup.

Together, let’s fight for causes with more than just good intentions!

This NFT-a-thon is an opportunity to:

  • address a critical Societal challenge;

  • improve and scale our impact, together.

  • NFT-a-thons are:

    • Innovation, Tech and Funding through Art,

    • Collaborations by artists, tech students, company employees, nonprofits and startup founders,

    • From and for underserved communities.

    No matter your experience,

during this NFT-a-thon, you will be invited to register to general events and other events where you can support with your skills (development, NFTs, design, marketing, art, legal…).

  • We’ll talk to the artists, and see

    1. Optional: if they’d like us to help them digitalize their art, and how. AR? video? Algorithms?

    2. Mandatory: we’ll create a smart contract for them to sell their art and distribute the money to our beneficiary founders and nonprofits.
To help them sell their art, we need to prepare a webpage and some marketing!

How this NFT-a-thon works

Tracks

You can choose among the following, depending on your skills or your interests. For instance, if you are a developer, you are welcome to participate in the Marketer & Project Manager’s event. If you are a Marketer, it might however be harder to participate in a developer’s event - but you can also provide support there as well.

  • Altogether events. Anyone should attend these events: ask questions to the nonprofits and founders, show support to the teams and meet each other.

  • Marketer and Project Managers events. Events to qualify the requirements of nonprofits and founders, and plan for in-product and other kinds of marketing.

  • Designers events. Events to leverage your design skills, for instance, to prepare a website’s design, according to the specs given by PMs or the previous group, or to prepare an artist’s webpage using a CMS for an NFT-a-thon.

  • Developer events. Work with other developers primarily and data scientists, working altogether or by themselves to implement the solutions defined and designed previously.

  • Artist events. Events for artists

  • Mentors/Partners/Sponsors events. Events dedicated to these kinds of stakeholders so we can organize, onboard, or connect them with each other.
